The Philippine Embassy in Hanoi wishes to inform consular clients in Vietnam that beginning 29 May 2017, the Consular Section shall begin implementing the following schedule for applications for Philippine Visas under specific visa categories and Affidavit in relation to the Waiver on Exclusion Ground (WEG):

                        Filing of Applications           :           9:00 A.M. to 12:00 N.N.

                        Release of Documents        :           3:00 to 4:30 P.M.

The following visa categories are covered by this announcement:

1) 9(a)-Temporary Visitor;

2) 9(b)-Transient;

3) 9(c)-Crewlist/Seaman;

4) 9(d) -Treaty Trader/Treaty Investor;

5) 9(f)-Student;

6) 9(g)-Pre-Arranged Employee; and

7) Non-Immigrant Visas under Section 47(a)(2) of Commonwealth Act No. 613 or the Philippine Immigration Act of 1940 and other Special Laws of the Philippines.

In addition, the Embassy shall also begin implementing an appointment system for visa clients while the appointment system for clients for affidavit in relation to WEG shall be retained. Only clients with a print-out of an e-mail confirmation from the Consular Section shall be allowed to enter the Embassy premises.

(Note: The appointment system shall cover filing of applications only. For the release of consular documents, kindly refer to the date and time written on the temporary receipt to be issued by consular staff after the transaction is concluded.) 

Clients for affidavit in relation to WEG with confirmed appointments may be accompanied by one (1) agent provided that the said agent represents all clients who are booked in the same timeslot.
