The Philippine Embassy in Vietnam successfully organized a Poster Making Contest for Filipino students in Vietnam in celebration of Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2021.

Twenty five Filipino children aged seven (7) to 15 years old participated in the competition. With this year's MANA Mo theme, "Our Seas, Our Livelihood, Our Heritage: Connecting Lives and Nations,” the students displayed their artistic skills, creativity and interpretation through their colorful drawings.

The competition aims to foster the children's artistic ability, promote maritime and archipelagic nation awareness among Filipino children in Vietnam and showcase their originality and creative talents focusing on maritime cultural heritage and biodiversity.

Judged according to relevance of the theme, originality and creativity, the winners of the contest are: Rehanna Grace Paduhilao, Grade 7 (1st Prize), Lorenzo P. Regalado ll, Grade 4 (2nd Prize) and Jhanel Zacharie M. Pecaña, Grade 5 (3rd Prize).

Parents of the participants expressed their appreciation to the Philippine Embassy's initiative in mobilizing events that cultivate their children's ingenuity.
