Post's staff met with the representative from the Philippines, Professor Dr. LaVerne David C. de la Peña, Dean, and a concert performer, playing the gongs known as kulintang, by Ms. Julia Eunice Sumatra Yabes, a college graduate, both from College of Music at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
C ASEAN Consonant was established in 2013. It is an ASEAN traditional ensemble from the ten (10) ASEAN member states connecting ten (10) musicians and musical conductors chosen to captivate performances with traditional musical instruments intertwining different musical heritage and creates bonds of understanding, strengthening regional connectivity, harmonious relationship and collaboration. C ASEAN Consonant's concerts have become a platform to share, learn, develop and preserve traditional music of ASEAN arts and cultural dialogues as the essential tool to create ASEAN identity.

During the event, Ms. Yabes performed by singing the 3-minute popular Ilocano folk song titled "Ti Ayat Ti Maysa Nga Ubing". It is about the love of a youth. It is a humorous song advising an old man who falls in love with a very young girl to choose a widow, not a young one who is already committed.
